Workshopping and play time!
We are starting a Theater workshop that meets twice a month.
-At these workshops we want to read scripts and monologues to help improve their acting skills, and play games and learn new skills.
-The goal is to build a group of people that feel confident creating new characters and personal skills on and off the stage.
-All in hopes to build a group of performers comfortable with each other so they can put together stories like “The Haunt” and “The Battle River Rail Murder Mystery”. As well as one act and full length plays.
Jan 25 is our first meeting 2-5pm. Starting February we are meeting second Sunday 2-5pm and last Tuesday 6:30-9pm of each month.

ADFA – Alberta Drama Festival Association – One Act Festival
-Have you every wanted to be on stage but feeling pretty nervous about it?
– Have you ever wanted to direct a play, but have no idea where to start?
Here is a great opportunity for you to push your comfort zone. It is a great chance to put yourself out there and try something new.
We are happy to mentor you and work with you. The play that is presented must be under an hour. You will get feedback from an adjudicator and have a chance to win awards as well as a chance to go to Provincials and represent your storytelling skills again.
At Provincials you will have an opportunity to talk with fellow actors, directors and backstage people and learn even more, and once again receive feedback from another adjudicator. It’s a whole lot of fun and we would love to help you to be a part of it!
April 25 in Ponoka and Provincials are at the end of May, Location TBA
